Ceramic book vase- Adulting Cook Book. A nostalgic parody of the famous Betty Crocker cookbook- this one is by "Betty Crockpot!" The worst part of being an adult is having to decide what to make for dinner for the rest of your lives. This is a handmade ceramic piece in the shape of a book. Use it to hold flowers or as a fillable container. Great gift for someone who does not like to cook. Handmade in my New Jersey studio from stoneware clay, kiln fired. This piece measures 5 inches tall, 3.5 x 2. Cover is decoupaged on and sealed with a non yellowing varnish. Some brush strokes will be visible from process of decoupage. The ceramic book itself is bright yellow with white pages- colors may appear differently on your computer monitor.
